SAFE Day: Keeping Survivors Safe through Marsy's Law

Keeping Survivors Safe through Marsy’s Law is a one-day multi-disciplinary training for those who work with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and human trafficking. Learn about Marsy’s Law and assisting survivors through the criminal justice process. 

Topics Include: 

  • Understanding the rights victims have under Marsy’s Law

  • Best practices for helping protect victims rights at each stage of the criminal justice process 

  • Understanding the role each person/agency plays in protecting a victim’s rights 

  • Understanding Ohio’s criminal justice system from the perspective of the victim 

6 hours of CLE and CEU credits have been requested. 

Cost is $35 and includes a boxed lunch.

 All boxed lunches include chips, whole fresh fruit, a chocolate chip cookie, and bottled water.
